The Histamine Info app by Reinhard Wunderer is based on the SIGHI food list regarding histaminosis (histamine intolerance / MCAS). It is kept up to date with regular updates. It takes into account not only the histamine content, but also the general tolerance in histaminosis, which is also influenced by histamine liberators, DAO inhi­bitors and other biogenic amines. Therefore, it is also suitable for people with MCAS and other mast cell activation disorders (MCAD).

Features

The ratings are customizable in order to take into account indi­vidual sensiti­vities or other intole­rances, allergies and dis­abili­ties. The app stands out for its acces­sible, intuitive user interface and its nimble search function. Planned changes for the future include a version for Apple Watch, Mac OS and addi­tional language packs.

The App Food Intolerances developed by "g-apps" is based on the SIGHI food list with respect to histamine, lactose, fructose and gluten. It is kept up to date with regular updates. Not only the histamine content is taken into account, but the compati­bility at histaminosis in general. Compati­bility is also influen­ced by histamine liberators, DAO inhibitors and other biogenic amines. The app is there­fore suitable for people with (mast cell activity syndrome (MCAS) and other mast cell disorders as well.

Features

The SIGHI was also co-developer of func­tionality, user guidance and design of this app. It provides search, filters and sort options. The compati­bility ratings can be adapted by the user to take into account his indi­vidual sensitivity or other intole­rances, allergies and dislikes. Conve­nient for travellers: The detail view displays trans­lations in the available langua­ges (EN-DE-FR). Optionally, you can switch to a display mode developed for persons concerned with color blind­ness (digits instead of colors). A free trial version allows testing before purchase.
